Antique African tribal knife Circa 1900.  Overall length approx. 11.1/4 ins, blade length 5.1/4 ins.  Blade to grey patina, but heavily pitted to each side of the single edged blade to the extent some of the blade edge is eaten away in places.  Dark hardwood handle with 3x brass nails (originally 4x) decoration to the top and bottom of one side, with some age/ useage wear and scrapes/ dings to one side in particular.  leather sheaf was originally hairy, but much of this lost to moths.  Retains original brass band decoration.  In poor overall condition. Reproduction/ Display Generals Mameluke Sword.  Overall length approx. 39 ins, blade length 33 ins.  Un-sharpened, single-edged, antiqued blade with chrome finish with foliac decoration to  both sides to about half way down the blade.  The blade with the signs of careless handling and dark grey finger acid marks and pittingparticularly towards the blade top flat of both sides.  One side of the blade with a Victorian crown, Royal coat of arms and spurious name "MANTON & CO  ENGLAND", the opposite side with a general officers insignia.  The brass cross-guard with floral decoration, ball finials and General officers insignia to both sides in laurel wreath circlets.   The flat front and back straps of knurled brass and with florette brass retaining rivet heads and circular lanyard hole.  The grips of ivory imitating white plastic.  The brass scabbard is complete and without dentsand scrapes.  In reasonable overall condition, but of no great age.
