Description
Napoleonic period .65 East India Company flintlock cavalry pistol, dated 1811. 15 in. overall, barrel 9 in with London proofs. Walnut fullstock, with regulation brass mounts and captive stirrup ramrod. Barrel to a silver steel finish with some pitting and light file scratches throughout. Lock action crisp with the rampant lion East India Company logo and date “1811”. Stock with some dings, knocks and filler around the lower brass retaining spring. Sone scratches and dings to the brass butt cap, trigger guard, Side-plate and front ramrod pipe. Pistol in reasonable overall condition commensurate with age.
