Description

WW2 German binoculars in 1942 dated black leather carrying case. At the top the black binoculars have to one side “b e h KF” in white paint over a blue circle and to the other side “Diennstglas 10×50 387188” in white paint to the other. The black grips are in good condition but there is some loss the original black paint finish in places and particularly to the the focus knurled aluminium grips to both small lense pieces. The original black leather neck strap and black bakelite lense cover are present and in good condition. The optics are still clear and in good condition. The inside of the lense cover has “Major Luft” scatched inside. The black leather carrying case has “KSO 1942 and what is left of a Wehrmacht stamp under the fastening strap. The lug to which the strap fastens appears to be a field repair/ modification, but being a tighter fit has caused the carrying case the crease/ bend under the increased tension. The black neck strap is present and complete, but dry with a very weakened split. The light tan leather interior is complete and in good condition.

Hard to find nice set of original WW2 German binoculars in good overall condition.
