Beginning in 1938 Adolf Hitler used this Austrian Palace for summit meetings and state receptions with the likes of Miklos Horthy and Benito Mussolini.  There is actually a sandstone eagle on the entrance portal dating from the Nazi period.  The palace was further used during the Nazi period for parades and weapons shows.

Our Nazi Castle Klessheim fork has the German silver mark of "20 90" mark to the rear along with the manufactures mark of "ART.KRUPP, BERNDORF". The front face with the Castle Klessheim eagle over a Nazi swastikas.  Tarnished silver finish with useage marks and wear, but in good condition comensurate with age.
