WW1 French military binoculars in leather carrying case. Much of the original black paint remains on the outer brass surfaces, but the lower steel surfaces rusty with much loss of the original black paint and a ding to one. of the lens covers. "MADE IN FRANCE" in white paint to the upper brace. Good cleart optics. The brown leather grips in good, worn condition (now treated with Pecard). The brown leather carrying case (now treated with Pecard retains both rear belt carrying straps, and the neck carrying strap (shortened, but impossible to tell if this is a contemporary or later mofification). An upper carrying strap has also been removed (but again, impossible to tell if this is a contemporary or later mofification). The popper appears to have been flattened/ damaged, but still works. In good overal condition comensurate with age.
