14-bore single barrel percussion sporting gun by LINES, 50 in., barrel 34 in., 3/4 wooden stocked, the lock engraved with birds, floral scrolls and stamped "LINES”;. Steel mounts with the barrel, lock plate, trigger-guard and butt-plate all to a dull grey/ Brown finish with surface pitting throughout. The lovely walnut stock is has some chequering at the wrist, and an oval blank brass escutcheon. The stock with knocks and bruises to the woodwork, surface pitting and age wear commensurate with age, good overall condition.

As a 100+ year old obsolete calibre/ antique firearm no licence is required to own this item in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. NB A FIREARMS CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED TO OWN THIS RIFLE FOR SHOOTING
