African tribal knife in scabbard. Overall length approx. 15.1/2 in, blade length approx. 11.1/4 in. Slightly curved, single edged steel blade generally to a shiny finish but with streaks of dull “old” rust, stains and a few darker finger acid patches. The cross-guard is of brass and two-piece wooden slab grips and present and in good condition. The black scabbard is of leather covered wood with a plaited leather thong suspension at the mouth. The end of the scabbard is worn slightly exposing the blade tip and there are a couple of dings to the scabbard, one to the edge again slightly exposing the blade within.
Otherwise in good overall condition.
