WW1 US 1913 dated Remington in British leather scabbard. Overall length 22.1/2 in., blade length 17 in. Blade stamped "12 15 Remington" on one side of the blade ricasso and British inspection marks to the other"28" Blade double fullered, single edged and to a dull grey finish with surface staining throughout and signs of blunting to the tip (bayonet fencing / practice?). Muzzle-ring, pommel etc retain much original black finish. The two piece wooden grips are in good condition as is the British dark coloured leather scabbard and frog. Whole in good overall condition commensurate with age.
