WW1 L31 Imperial German Air Force Zeppelin Commemorative Frame. Zeppelin L31 was shot down whilst on a bombing raid to London on 1st October, 1917 by W J Tempest of the RFC whilst piloting a BE2c aircraft. L31 crashed in flames on a field at Potters Bar. The crew of 19 was killed.

Our commemorative frame measures 60cm long x 19cm wide with 3 pictures of German Zepplin L31 before going on it’s final bombing raid, being engaged and set afire by a BE2c RFC aircraft and its crash site guarded by British soldier and the final lower part containing an actual rivet and aluminium shards from the crash site.
